Gavora
Terms of Use
Version 1.0 · July 2026 · Validation phase
1. What Gavora is, and what it is not
The Gavora Index is a cognitive and behavioral style assessment. It describes how you tend to think and work. It does not measure intelligence, ability, mental health, or worth.
Gavora is currently in its validation phase. Scores, profiles, placement bands, and projections (including any AI augmentation figures) are provisional and may change as validation data accumulates. Results are offered for personal insight and team collaboration, and for no other purpose.
Gavora is not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and is not a substitute for professional judgment of any kind.
2. No employment decisions
Gavora results must not be used as the basis for hiring, firing, promotion, demotion, compensation, discipline, or any other employment decision. The product refuses to support such uses by design, and using results this way violates these Terms.
If you are a manager or organization, you agree that access to any individual's results comes only through that individual's explicit, revocable consent inside the product, and that consent to share is not consent to be evaluated.
3. Your data
To operate the assessment we collect your responses, response timing, session events, and the results computed from them. Optional demographic questions are exactly that: optional. They are used solely to test the fairness of the instrument across groups, and they are never shown to your manager or employer.
We use your data to compute your results, to operate the product, and to validate and improve the instrument. Validation analyses use de-identified or aggregated data wherever practical. We do not sell your personal data.
You may stop sharing your profile with a manager at any time. Revocation takes effect immediately for future access.
4. Intellectual property
The Gavora Index, including its dimensions, profiles, item bank, imagery, scoring methods, narratives, and software, belongs to Gavora. You receive a personal, non-transferable right to take the assessment and view your results.
You agree not to copy, publish, scrape, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from assessment content, including question text and stimuli. Screenshots of your own results for personal use are fine.
5. Accounts and acceptable use
Keep your sign-in method secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. Take the assessment honestly and only for yourself. Do not attempt to probe, extract, or manipulate other people's results, including through the Ask Gavora interface.
6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Gavora is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that results are accurate, complete, or suited to any decision.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gavora's total liability arising out of these Terms or the product is limited to the greater of one hundred dollars or the amount you paid Gavora in the twelve months before the claim. Gavora is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for decisions made by you or others based on results.
7. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms as the product evolves; material changes will be posted here with a new version and date, and continued use means acceptance. We may suspend access for violations of these Terms, particularly Section 2.
8. Contact and governing law
Questions about these Terms: contact Gavora through your organization's administrator. Governing law and venue will be specified before commercial launch.
